Mount Prospect School District 57

As stated in the District Technology Plan, a Committee made up of Community members and District staff has been formed to advise Administration as in the committee's Charter.

Committee Charter:

The Technology Advisory Committee serves to advise the school district as it implements the District Technology Plan. The committee periodically reviews this plan to ensure its currency, its alignment with state standards and its consistency with the District's Mission.

The Technology Advisory Committee seeks involvement from and cooperation with other public bodies. It seeks to understand the uses of technology, by students, in the classroom. The Committee then fosters the community's recognition of the value of technology to students and residents at large.

The Committee encourages open, wide-ranging and unbounded discussion on the uses of technology in education. Members are welcome "to dream". Through their dreams, they look to extend, enhance and supplement the learning experience through technology.

This page is to serve as a repository of the committee's work and research to share information with its members and community.
