Previous Employment: Started my driving career with Cook County School Bus in 1995.Bus Driver for District 57 1995-98. Transportation Coordination Assistant in District57 1998-2000

What made you decide to become a bus driver? "I previously drove for a paint company. I liked the freedom it gave you to be out and not have people watching over you constantly. But Ihave always enjoyed being around children. It was a good combination for both of my interests".

What do you enjoy most about your postition? "I would have to say the children. I enjoy being part of children's lives in this role because you get to teach them important things about school buses. Everyone knows the saying, "You learn something new everyday." I like being part of teaching children something new everyday."
