Parents please remember that your child needs to be at their assigned bus stop and not waiting at their home for the bus. This causes the bus route to be delayed getting to other stop. This also puts your child in danger. When a bus arrives at a bus stop, the bus driver checks all of their mirrors and if they do not see anyone they will proceed. If your child is not at the bus stop your child is risking the bus driver not seeing them and getting hurt by the bus. By the winter time all student should know what time the bus is arriving daily. Also remember, the stop that your child is assigned to is the only stop that your child is allowed to get off at unless, they have a signed note from their parents/guardians. This note needs to be turned into the bus driver when the children board the bus at 3:00.
If your child would like another student to ride home with them on their bus route both students must be bus riders to do so. Children who are not registered to a regular bus route are not permitted to ride the 3:00p.m school bus. If they are registered riders they need to follow the same procedures in the above paragraph. This is in case of an emergency the bus driver knows there is a student aboard their bus that is not one of their regular bus riders. Children that do not have notes or permission will only ride their regular bus routes and get off at their regular stops. The notes that are written should be in the parent’s/guardian’s writing. Please make sure the note has your child’s full name and, what route they ride regularly. The note should also include which child they are riding home with and their regular route number. These procedures help us keep track of who is riding our buses. This privilege is subject to space availability
Afternoon Activity Bus routes:
Central Rd. is the North/South dividing line through our district. We have a North and a South
activity bus. Since there are only two buses the bus stops are spread out to accommodate all activity bus riders. Students riding the activity bus will need to meet in the commons area after their activity
ends. They will sign in with the activity bus supervisor for which activity bus they will be taking.
These records help us keep track of who is riding the activity buses in case of an emergency. Activity bus routes leave Lincoln promptly at 4:10p.m. All students will be dropped off between 4:11p.m. – 4:41p.m. Copies of the current activity bus routes are available in the Lincoln office.
Who Is Eligible:
If your child stays after school for sports, clubs or any other school supervised activities or detention they are eligible to ride the afternoon activity bus. There is no fee for this bus but your child must be in a supervised after school activity. Children who are not in supervised after school activities are not eligible to ride the afternoon activity bus.

The only students that will have a house stop are children that have an IEP that states they require a house stop. Parents please remember that your child needs to be at their assigned bus stop and not waiting at their home for the bus. If you have a student who attends one of our pre-school programs they need to be ready with their harness on and ready for you both to board the bus so that you can secure your child into their seat. If you are not ready this causes the bus route to be delayed getting to other stop. This also puts your child in danger. When a bus arrives at a bus stop, the bus driver checks all of their mirrors and if they do not see anyone they will proceed. If your child is not at the bus stop you are putting both you and your child at risk that the bus driver does not see you and you or your child could get hurt by the bus. By the winter time all parents should know what time the bus is arriving daily. Parents please remember the stop that your child is assigned to is the only stop that your child is allowed to get off at unless they have a signed note from their parents/guardians. This note needs to be turned into the bus driver when the children board the bus. If you are planning a play date for your child we will not be able to transport the play date child. If these are your arrangements you will need to pick up your child. If your child would like a child from their bus route to get off with them or, you would like your child to get off the bus with another child the bus driver would need a note. Please remember that when the bus drops off a parent needs to be present to receive the child. If no parent is at the corner the bus driver will call into the office and report the missing parent. The bus will continue on and return the child back to school. We are unable to make a second stop.
