Physical Science:

Properties of matter, elements and compounds; motion and forces; work, machines, and energy; atom, periodic table, chemical interactions; electricity; waves, sound light

 

Reading and Language Arts

 
Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Grade:
Students engage and improve their reading skills through reading well-chosen grade level appropriate novels and anthology selections, completing regular journal writing and reader responses, and writing activities based on the state standards for writing for middle school students.
